Lions Charity Boot Fair. Many thanks to all who visited our magnificent emporium and gave generously for the superb selection of nearly new items and produce. We raised £1400 for local charities - a bonus for all those who bought items and helped the community at the same time. Thanks too to John for being so accommodating in letting us use his site, and for arranging such excellent weather.
Easter Egg Raffle -THANK YOU to the 14 Pubs, The Tenterden Club and Planters at the Tenterden Garden Garden for selling tickets for our Easter Egg Baskets raffle - It was very well supported by their customers making it a great success. The top seller was Planters who raised a magnificent £500 - Thanks Richard & Susan
Our second annual Choir Concert for local Primary schools was held in March with St Michaels awarded 1st place. The judges had quite a job deciding on the winner as all 5 schools who entered performed fantastically. The 3rd choir concert took place on 13th March 2013. Full report soon on the 'What's On' page.

We support the Lions International Blood Research Appeal - LIBRA which provides King's College Hospital London with invaluable scientific equipment, which is crucial in helping us to develop new tests and treatments for blood cancers
