Our New Christmas Float 2007

Our New Christmas Float with the body produced by students of Homewood School  MANY THANKS TO HOMEWOOD SCHOOL FOR THEIR WORK ON THE SLEIGH

THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO HAVE GIVEN SO GENEROUSLY

Father Christmas was on his float, visiting Tenterden & the surrounding area, from the 4th to 21st December. It was good to see young and old on our travels and hopefully bring a little good cheer to all. We collected our best total ever, thanks to many kind folk who put money into our buckets, over this 3 week period. Father Christmas travelled a good few miles and his helpers spent well over 200 hours collecting on behalf of Lions. We will be using the funds to support a number of needy causes including Tenterden Day Centre.

If you are interested  in the areas we covered, please click on Father Christmas for details.

Thanks also to friends and family who, so nobly, came and helped the Lions on many a cold and frosty evening. Our Treasurer Ray did a grand job counting all the collections, much of which was in coin.
