School Choir Competition takes place in Spring 2012
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT IN RAISING A RECORD AMOUNT FOR LIONS CHARITIES IN 2011Bulb Planting was completed in St Michaels & Tenterden on Sunday 20th November. We now look forward to the Spring.
Charity Variety Show at the Sinden Theatre Homewood School Tenterden on Friday 14th October was a great success watch out for another next year. Thanks for all who came and supported it.
It's a Knockout was held on Sunday 4th September for disabled participants and thoroughly enjoyed by all. The first of many perhaps!
Father Christmas appeared with his sleigh at Late Night Shopping in Tenterden on Friday 2nd December and then he went out and about for 3 weeks. The routes travelled can be found under the 'Christmas Float ' menu
GUIDE FOR THE DISABLED -Thanks to all who have completed questionnaires to help us produce a guide on disabled access in Tenterden & St Michaels. Since the printed guide was published further information has been provided and the web version updated. Amendments to content have been made under the relevant section of the guide. Additions are shown on page 25 and 26 and for example include The Tenterden Museum. We plan to update the web version regularly. Click on 'Guide for Disabled' on the top menu to access.
SOME PREVIOUS EVENTS
A Nearly New Clothes Sale was successfully run on Saturday 13th August by the Lions Ladies. Many folk came to see and buy and went away with bargains - thanks for your support.
A Car Boot Sale was held on Sunday 17th July near Rolvenden Railway Station
- Cakes and other produce were on sale. There were only a few car boots due to the poor weather but none the less, several hundred pounds were raised for Lions Charities. Thank you for your support.July 2011 - we were at Tentertainment with our bowling, darts & key games. The ladies had their very successful children's lucky dip. Lions also helped with clearing rubbish and collecting donations
Race NIght was held on 16th July 2010 at London Beach and was enjoyed by all.

Remembrance Charity Lunch on 8th November 2009
We had an excellent lunch in support of those who are serving and have served our nation with incredible courage. The Hotel, through their charity fund, contributed the cost of the food. Thank you to London Beach.
Thanks to you for your kind support which raised over £2000, enabling the following 4 charities to benefit: Help for Heroes, The Royal Artillery Association, The Royal British Legion & Combat Stress.
